BUVM meets the Press

New Delhi (23 July) : While talking with journalists today in a well – attended press coference, BUVM President and Ex-MP Sh. Shyam Bihari Mishra informed that Hon’ble Union Home Minister Sh. Rajnath Singh will inaugurate the Traders’ Day celebrations on coming 09^th August 2015.  He briefed that Sh. Bhikhu Ram Jain, Ex-MP had established Bhartiya Udyog Vyapar Mandal 34 years ago on 9^th Aug 1981 as a non-political trade body to look after interests of small and medium traders and small scale industries of India and it has been a unanimous decision of the members to celebrate 9^th August as Traders Day every year.  

The President Mr. Mishra remembered those martyrs who laid their lives while fighting for the cause of business community and said that the untold sufferings and sacrifices which such members of the Vyapar Mandal and their families have experienced keep the flame of Bhartiya Udyog Vyapar Mandal lighting brightly.

Mr. Mishra also mentioned that  Inspector and License Raj, GST-VAT, Food Safety Act, Agriculture Market Produce Act are the core issues which should be decided to the satisfaction of all stake holders. He said that bulldozing the ex-parte decisions without giving a patient hearing to the trading community’s concerns is not acceptable to us. GST is being introduced by the govt. soon and the traders welcome single and simple GST which instead of complicating tax regime would attempt to simplify it. The promise of single window should also be implemented by the govt.

During the press conference National Chairman Mr. Manohar Lal Kumar, Convenor and SVP Mr.  Bal Kishan Agarwal, Secretary General Sh. Vijay Prakash Jain, National General Secretary Sh. Bijendra Goyal, Sh. Om Kishan Gupta, Sh. Naren Bhikhu Ram Jain, Shri Kailash Gupta and Sh. Hemant Gupta were also present. 

Traders Day on 09th August

As you would be well aware, it was unanimously decided in the National Executive Committee Meeting of 18th April that 09th August would be observed as Traders' Day every year. This year, Traders Day would be celebrated from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Annexe Hall of Constitution Club, Rafi Marg, New Delhi-110001. Since it is our own festival to enjoy the togetherness of all members of the trading community, we must actively participate in it together with friends and colleagues and should make it a huge success.

Staying and food arrangements are being made for the day. You are therefore requested to intimate us as soon as possible, preferably by 15th July as to how many delegates would be attending from your city / unit so that neccessary arrangements may be made for your comfortable stay.

We have invited our PM Mr. Narendra Modi and other senior ministers to join us in the festival, to bless and address us in the gathering. Our Hon'ble Home Minister Mr. Rajnath Singh Ji have already conveyed his consent to inaugurate the function.  In a democratic setup our success would be measured by the number we can assemble there for the occasion. This success would decide to a large extent how much our voice is heard by the policy makers of the nation.

मित्रों, जैसा कि आपको ज्ञात ही होगा, 18 अप्रैल 2015 की राष्ट्रीय कार्यकारिणी सभा में सर्वसम्मति से यह निर्णय लिया गया था कि हम सभी व्यापारी प्रति वर्ष 09 अगस्त को व्यापारी दिवस के रूप में मनाया करेंगे। इस वर्ष ’व्यापारी दिवस’ का आयोजन 09 अगस्त को नई दिल्ली में रफी मार्ग स्थित कॉंस्टिट्यूशन क्लब एनेक्सी हॉल में प्रातः 10 बजे से अपराह्न 4 बजे तक मनाया जायेगा। इस आयोजन में भाग लेने के लिये प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी व उनके मंत्रिमंडल के अन्य वरिष्ठ सदस्यों को आमंत्रित किया गया कि वह हम सब के मध्य आकर हमें सम्बोधित करें व अपना आशीर्वाद दें।  आपको सूचित करते हुए प्रसन्नता है कि हमारे माननीय गृहमंत्री श्री राजनाथ सिंह जी से कार्यक्रम के उद्‌घाटन सत्र में भाग लेने हेतु सहमति प्राप्त हो गई है।

इस आयोजन को सफल बनाने के लिये ये अनिवार्य है कि देश के कोने - कोने से, हर नगर व कस्बे से व्यापारिक प्रतिनिधि अधिक से अधिक संख्या में शामिल होकर इस उत्सव को भव्य स्वरूप प्रदान करें। 

आप सबसे अनुरोध है कि इस उत्सव में भाग लेने के लिये अपने अपने रेल आरक्षण तुरन्त करा लें। अच्छा तो ये होगा कि आप पूरी रेल बोगी बुक करा कर अपने मित्रों व सहयोगियों भारी संख्या में आयें। हम लगभग 1500 व्यापारी प्रतिनिधियों के आने की व्यवस्था कर रहे हैं।  कृपया अपने आने की सूचना हमें शीघ्रतिशीघ्र, हो सके तो 15 जुलाई तक देने की कृपा करें कि आप कितने साथी इस आयोजन में पधार रहे हैं ताकि आप सब के रहने व भोजन की सुचारु व्यवस्था की जा सके।

इस कार्यक्रम में पूरे देश से हज़ारों की संख्या में व्यापारी नेताओं की सहभागिता सुनिश्चित की जा रही है क्योंकि लोकतंत्र में संख्या बल का ही सर्वाधिक महत्व है। किसी संस्था की शक्ति को मापने के लिये लोकतंत्र में सबसे बड़ा पैमाना यही है कि कितनी संख्या में कितने सदस्य, कितने उत्साह के साथ संगठित रूप से आवाज़ उठाते हैं। आशा है आप अपनी शक्ति का परिचय देश, समाज, मीडिया व हमारे नीति-निर्धारकों को अवश्य ही देंगे।

Membership Campaign

Here is an important communique stressing the need for the business community to get united under the umbrella of Bhartiya Udyog Vyapar Mandal and fight against the one-sided laws and policies which are mostly in favour of big corporates and MNCs.  With this need in view, a special Membership Campaign has been kick-started at national level. 

Please go through this letter addressed to you by the All India General Secretary Shri Vijay Prakash Jain.  Also enclosed with the letter are Membership forms for your use.

The institutional membership fee is Rs. 4,500/- whereas for individuals and firms, it is Rs. 2,500/- only.  The membership is granted for a period of 3 years for institutions as well as individuals and firms.

The strength of BUVM lies in the combined strength of its members.  More active and enthusiastic you are, stronger your Vyapar Mandal becomes.  So, act NOW! Let's join our hands together. Motivate more and more people to be a part of Bhartiya Udyog Vyapar Mandal.
